Weston Graphics Sustainable Packaging

Neonatal and pediatric medical device manufacturer Neotech recently replaced the traditional tree-based paperboard packaging on its NeoBar endotracheal tube holder with Tree-Free paper. The renewable plant-based material is made from bagasse, a by-product of sugarcane and a rapidly renewable material. The virgin material¹ is:

  • 100% Compostable;
  • Biodegradable;
  • Free of chemicals, bleach, chlorine, bisphenol-A (BPA), and dyes; and
  • Outperforms recycled products without harming the planet.

This is the first product for which Neotech is using the Tree-Free paper. Packaging Digest interviews Ernie Cavazos, Marketing Manager at Neotech Products, and our very own Adam Weston, President of Weston Graphics about the Tree-Free packaging in the following article by Kate Bertrand Connolly: Neonatal and Pediatric Medical-Device Maker Picks Tree-Free Cartons.
